This would have been a five star review except for the fact that smoking was not restricted to designated smoking areas and this was not being policed by Seahaven Resort managment.Other guests were smoking willy nilly all over the resort with their second hand cigarette smoke wafting into rooms and all through areas of the resort.This was most unsatisfactory and I believe breached the current Smoking laws in Queensland.

It's a good resort tucked in a tropical plantation/garden vibes with a massive pool in the center.The rooms are good, like recently renewed.Overall good vibes and value for money.

Place was nice and clean, rooms were good for a family. There were 5 of us and the bunk beds come so handy. We did get eaten by midges by the pool but otherwise was good. Will stay again next time!

Travelling overnight with young children the room was amazing with lots of space and kid friendly.Bed was so comfortable which helped for a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend.

As some have stated, resort is in need of a makeover, newly renovated rooms a great, we had a king spa room and really was very nice. Breakfast was ok, just the basics for a continental. Would definitely stay again. With some money spent this could be a really awesome resort, I am sure this would have been one of the best in Townsville when it was new.

Perfect for a stop over on our trip cairns - whitsundays. The room is renovated (not the bathroom though) - really stylish ! Beds confortable.

A pleasant place to stay. I was under the impression that it was on the beach but alas, it's a km away. However, it's next to the beautiful walking track that leads to the strand along the shore. The room was standard and clean. TV didn't work as the remote batteries were flat but that not their fault. The bed was not very comfy as it was too soft so my wife spent the night on the couch on the second night. The pool area is really pretty even though, being winter, we didn't use it. It was quiet as it's off the main strand.

I recently stayed here with my two young children. The rooms were big enough for all the baby items, nice and spacious.Food was great and all the workers are SO lovely and really accomodating. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

We stayed here for a surprise party at the resort. The gardens were beautiful and it was a magical night. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable and clean. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond for us. And the restaurant and pool area made for a great place to spend the day. Would highly recommend Seagulls Resort
